  1. The swivel setup is retarded but predator fish will go after it since it mimics a crawfish/bait… works great for bass and bowfin down here

    Edit: you guys are just too lazy to retie practice practice direct is the way to go. Good luck op but tying knots is very simple happy fishing

  2. Yes but get rid of that swivel! Direct tie the lure to your line, that swivel hook will slip out as soon as you get a fish on and you will lose your lure and leave a fish swimming with a jig in its lip, speaking from experience :/

  3. As others have said, ditch the swivel. Good skirt/jig/plastic choice, will definitely catch fish that eat crawfish.

    Look into learning to tie a palomar knot. I finally did and it saves sooooo much time tying knots

    Oh yes. Tie that jig straight to the line. Cast and hop. The key is to let it hit bottom every time. Caught 3 of my PB smallmouth on craw jigs

  5. It’s catch. Swivel isn’t needed and will affect action though. For best bites, tie direct. 🙂
